Summary The title of the chapter is « Cognitive Development». The main idea of this text is that knowledge of the stages of cognitive development of schoolchildren will help to cor- rectly outline the strategy of teaching. In that chapter were considered some questions about model for evaluating the rigor of lesson objectives according to their cognitive demands, author explored the variations among students’ learning modalities and intelligences, and we discussed strategies for ensuring lasting memory of what we are teaching.
