The present study sought to discover teachers’ perceptions of their job satisfaction based on the demographic characteristics of gender, age and faculty at one university in Jilin province, China. The study used quantitative research method. The sample of the study comprised of 116 participants from eight different faculties in the university. Out of this, 62 were males and 54 were females. The questionnaire instrument used was based on a 5 point-Likert scale from Strongly Disagree 1, Disagree 2, Neutral 3, Agree 4 and Strongly Agree 5. All the items in the questionnaire tested job satisfaction aspects of the faculty members. The data was analysed by the use of the descriptive statistics using Statistical Package of Social Science (SPSS) software. An analysis of the data by use of ANOVA revealed a significant difference in job satisfaction between the faculties.
