The aim of this study is to investigate the predictive strength of early maladaptive schemas and adult attachment styles on psychological tendencies performed in intimate relationships. Correlational model was used and the sample consisted of 100 individuals. The data was gathered through online survey. The Turkish form of Multidimensional Relationship Questionnaire was used to measure psychological tendencies. The Turkish form of Young Schema Questionnaire Short Form-3 was used to measure early maladaptive schemas and the Turkish form of Experiences in Close Relationships-Revised was used to measure attachment styles. The multiple linear regression analysis was conducted on each psychological tendency considering maladaptive schemas and attachment styles as independent variables.
