This work is the result of an experiment carried out by the teacher / researcher, with students of classes of the 2nd and 3rd years of High School, of a Public School of the State network, located in Brazil, in the city of Diamantina, belonging to the State of Minas Gerais. Its main objective is to analyze how the use of new technologies in the classroom, such as the concept maps tool, can contribute both to teaching-learning physics and as an instrument to facilitate learning and evaluation. Thus, from the researches and studies, the conceptual maps tool was used as a facilitator tool in the evaluation, for the improvement in students' scores on the content of Physics.
