Installing/Reinstalling Windows using a disk
There are things that you need to reconsider before you install or
reinstall, either 7, 8 or 8.1
First off, you need to back-up all of your data to make sure that
nothing will be lost during the reinstall process.
Since this topic pertains to reinstallation using a disk, you need to
make sure that your optical drive is working.
Execute the following steps:
Insert the DVD media to your computer’s optical drive.
Once this is done, you need to boot to your computer’s boot menu
in the bios. The key that you need to press will depend on the make
of your computer, usually it will be F1, F2, DEL, ESC and F10. Once
you figure what the key is you'll be led to this screen that looks like

In this example, you are to choose option number 2.
Once this is chosen, the installation for Windows will then
commence.
