IV. General Office Information SharePoint Support Request SharePoint Support Request is used for requesting a service such as fixing an item, requesting help or just simply requesting equipment. All of this can be done on SharePoint. There are 3 different types of support requests that you should know about. IT Support Request: Used if you need help with any electronic. For example, if I needed my computer to be fixed I would refer to SharePoint and select IT to put in my request. Communication’s Request: Used if you need a Daily Byte, have an Active Network issue, color printing, email blast, webpage update, Facebook post and equipment needs (Laptop, projector, etc.) Once you are logged into SharePoint proceed to the next step. Step 1) In the homepage, select “Support Requests” on the left-hand side. Step 2) Click on “Items”, “New Item” and your choice of request 12
