First Asia’s IB World Student Conference was held at the University of Hong Kong
during 11th
to 17th
of August.
1st
and 2nd
year students of IB Diploma Program from
around 27 countries including Kazakhstan came together in a city of Hong Kong
where east meets west.
Informative sessions were provided by more than 20
experienced professor speakers on theme of iResponsibilty: How we engage in the
Online World.
160 participants were divided into 40 subgroups during Global
Action Team’s meetings and designed an iPlan.
It is a reflection of all sessions
covered and a plan to be pitched for a CAS project, once students get back to their
countries.
The goal is to use online world, social networks, promote and realize
your idea in an online world, as well as the reality.
The best three among the 40
iPlans were awarded by the IB Committee judges.
