The Shorthorn staff
Students can get their computing needs met at the UTA Bookstore starting next month.
The on-campus computer store
will have a new owner and location after the university ends its
run in May.
After the closing of
Ransom Hall for renovations, the
UTA Computer Store moved to
The Gallery, a space previously
occupied by student art galleries.
Now, plans for a new store located
in the bookstore are under way.
Follett Higher Education Group,
the company that owns and operates the bookstore, will be the new
vendor for the store.
“We have relationships with all
of the major developers,” Elio DiStaola, Follett public and campus
relations director, said.
“Follett will
bring an additional Apple presence
to the new store.
”
DiStaola confirmed that the
new store will possess the same
deals on software as the current
