Bo Ingram had no hesitation Wednesday night.
The senior forward looked
far from nervous in his first
Southland Conference Tournament game.
Ingram fired early
and often – and often hit.
Ingram knocked down five
three-pointers, four in the first
half, scoring 21 points as UTA
blitzed Nicholls State in Katy,
winning 96-48 in the quarterfinals of the SLC Tournament.
“As soon as I stepped into
the arena, I had a different
focus, a whole different mindset,” Ingram said.
“We wanted
to set the tone early and let the
Southland Conference know it’s
not going to be easy.
”
The barrage started early.
Ingram knocked down three
consecutive three-pointers
within the first three minutes.
