After competing on the Auburn women’s golf team from 2004-08, Roswell, Ga.

Shirley returns to the Tigers in her first season as assistant coach.
As a player, Shirley competed in four straight NCAA Championships, earned three All-SEC
selections and was honored as a member of the SEC Community Service Team three-times.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a minor in Sport Coaching in
2008, she decided to advance to a professional level.
During the 2008-09 season she played professionally in the Florida Suncoast Series, where she had
two wins making her the tour’s leading money winner for the season.
After serving her time professionally she came back to college golf as an assistant coach at
Georgia.
At Georgia she helped lead the team to two NCAA Regional appearances and a top-five
finish at the SEC Championship.
Shirley helped coach an NCGA and GolfWeek National Player of the Year in 2011 and a Honda
