Similar to harvest festival in
western countries, Vaisakhi is
traditionally observed by
people of Punjab, India once

crop.
It is celebrated in form
of festival and also as the
beginning of new year.
Particularly for Sikhs, it is very
significant day, as on this day
Khalsa panth (sikh religion)
came in existence.
PAAM
represents Punjabi
community overseas and
works to bring communities
together.
America is now

their best to keep their
tradition and rich culture intact
in this diverse atmosphere.
