” I’m a strong believer in that.
I used
to really get mad at myself when I was
younger.
Even though I’m still just 15,
I’ve learned how to manage my temper.
These days, when I make a bogey—
which still makes me mad—I rationalize
it and tell myself that everyone makes
bogeys…it’s all about how you respond.
There are actually “good bogeys” in some
circumstances.
With help from my parents and my
swing coach, Brook Hollow’s Cameron
McCormick, I’ve also learned it’s OK to
get mad for a second, but it’s more
important to look forward than looking
back.
And nothing gets me more pumped up
than bouncing back with a birdie.
