My son has an addiction to playing violent,
graphic video games.
I keep hearing how younger people
are growing up in these game worlds, where they are
learning that killing people or things is good and is
rewarded.
I am concerned that my son might become
desensitized when it comes to the real world, and that he
won’t be able to understand the great consequences that
can happen when someone takes another’s life.
Should I
be this concerned and take away these games? Or am I
being overly cautious? Also, is killing people in a virtual
game a type of sin?
