Delta Week 2011 “The Versatility of Service” was geared towards promoting services that
were applicable to the diverse campus here at George Mason University.
The events included,
”Reap what you sew”, “Dip with the Deltas”, “Worship with the Deltas”, “Don’t Lose your
Breath” ,“Don’t Lose Your Breath”, “Vroom Vroom Start it up” , “From Sunrise to Sunset”, and
finally “Pre-Earth Day Carnival”.
Each event covered a different issue or criteria of service with
the hopes to have a further reaching impact within the community.
Soror Ayrielle LeGrande had
this to say about the planning of events for this week, “We wanted to provide the Mason
community with events that were different from each other, not only because it would reach a
broader audience, but also because it educated them on different ways their services could be put to
use on and off campus.
” The first event during Delta week was the “Reap What You Sew” meant to
combine work and play on the campus of George Mason community.
