Educational Problems in Rural Areas
It is said that 80 percent Filipino poor families live in the rural areas of this country.
These are towns
located far from the city.
There is a low population density on the rural areas of the country as well as a
corresponding deficiency in schools and classroom.
In rural areas, there is less to none private academic
institutions to cater the need of educational attainment for its people.
And if there is, it may not be a big
hit among its populace since not everyone can afford so in these areas only institution owned and funded
by the government are sought after.
Tuition fee are free on public schools but despite that fact families still can’t afford to send their children
to school for a variety of complicated reason.
It is said that 80 percent or around 65 million of the
Filipinos on rural areas survive everyday on a 96 pesos or less wage basis.
Having that said, no wonder
some families cannot afford to send their children to school.
