Ohio State rode a 23-game win streak to an outright Big Ten championship, a cathartic Sugar Bowl victory over Alabama and a dominating win against Oregon that gave the Buckeyes the first ever CFP National Championship. There were blowout wins and double-overtime thrillers. The Buckeyes won plenty at home but also emerged triumphant following a Happy Valley whiteout and a trip to Lane Stadium, where “Enter Sandman” jump-started an electric Virginia Tech crowd, to open defense of their title this season. During the winning streak there were shrugs of celebration after a game-winning sack from defensive end Joey Bosa and confetti baths in Dallas after OSU won it all.
