I enjoy the balance of my thinking
that comes from being both a child
care provider education executive
and a parent.
I watch my children
carefully since I often learn things
from them.
Those of you in the child day care

learn quite a bit from observing the
children you serve each day.
I recently became even more aware
that my children love animals and
they have this keen interest in the
development of certain creatures.
The photo to the left shows Michael
and Gabrielle in a pet and pet
supply store recently and they were
entranced by the animals, the
equipment and more.
One of the things I have learned is
that when I seek to impart a lesson
to my children, I draw upon things
and situations that interest them in
order to make my point.
I do the
same to keep life interesting for
them, even when selecting entertainment and recreation.
Sometimes it can mean the difference
between Disney World and Sea
World or the zoo.
