It was blue that day; the sky, the dress Dana wore, the zombies Greg mixed us
from his bar, and the car that Dana’s boyfriend Paten showed up in.

tight short blue dress that made my dick blue, too.
I tried not to stare, and Greg kept the
conversation light, because he is a social wizard, and he took everything in at a glance
and put his tact towards alleviating any tension.
We were young, younger than we are
now, and high school had happened only a few years before.
I had once had a huge crush
on Dana, but back then she had been with some jock.
I’d run into her a few days before,
and now we were all just out of college and we thought we were wiser, and so we all
decided to meet up for drinks.
But now there was this new guy, Paten, who was a nice
guy I guess.
He’d put about three years into rebuilding his 1968 Barracuda, baby blue it
