welcome to the August .

and finally … summer
edition.
Dear weather, all is
forgiven! Wow, after a
miserable start to the year it seems
Mother Nature has been on a guilt trip
and has sent us something to really write
home about! Even the UK is experiencing
it s first proper summer in some years.
I love this weather and I most definitely
won t complain about it being too hot! I
love being able to eat outside, whether
it be in the garden or a picnic outing,
although I think that s as much to do with
not having to clear crumbs off the floor
afterwards as enjoying the temperature!
But don t you find everyone is generally
happier and more upbeat? People are not
rushing around as much and have time
to stop and chat be leisurely.
Yes, I
conclude I am definitely a fan of summer
so long may it continue!
I ve noticed too that the drier weather
has meant less moles hills … thank god
venemous snakes; thankfully this is all
we have discovered in our garden! Lynne
