RADIOHEAD PRESENTATION The song Just is performed by the British band Radiohead. Released in 1995 on the album The Bends, it belongs to the alternative rock genre. It achieved notable success, particularly thanks to its striking music video and JUST memorable riffs. The song is about a person who gets stuck in their problems and ultimately harms themselves, as the chorus says: “You do it to yourself.” It can be seen as a “protest song” because it critiques passivity, self-sabotage, and more broadly, the way society can neglect mental health. ❤︎/✗ Personally, it is one of my favorite Radiohead songs because it is intense and thought-provoking about choices and destructive behaviors, while remaining incredibly melodic.
