Enderby’s newest celebrity comes in the form of a 15-inch beagle named CH Tashtin Lookin For Trouble, otherwise known as Miss P (short for Peyton). The Enderby born and bred four-year-old was crowned Best in Show at the 139th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York Feb. 17. The resulting whirlwind of media attention left owners Lori and Kaitlyn Crandlemire deprived of sleep but buoyed by the big win. “It’s pretty overwhelming. You’re not prepared for it because you have no idea of what’s involved until you’re in it,” said Lori. “It’s been quite a bit of chaos. I don’t think it’s sunk in yet. It’s all a blur.” Lori was thrilled when Miss P won her category the previous day to be in the running for Best In Show, but was ready to head home following the event. “It got much bigger,” she noted, though.
