STAY CONNECTED: Regulators in California took a pivotal step on Monday, June 26 toward becoming the first state to require the popular weed killer Roundup to come with a label warning users of cancer risks, according to CBS.news. Since March 2015, the World Health Organization has reported being exposed to Roundup is likely to cause cancer, such as non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, lymphocytic lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and more. One of the many affected by Roundup is North Carolina farmer, William Prince who has admitted to spraying Roundup from 1976 through 1990 for approximately 90 days a year for 22 years. Unfortunately Prince has now been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Lawyers say Monsanto, the chemical's maker, has advertised Roundup as "practically non-toxic" since the 1990s - even though this company has known about the link between Roundup and lymphoma since the 1980s.
