Transformational change/improvement priorities: Harlaw Academy August 2016 – June 2019 The notes below set out our broad priorities for the 3 years August 2016 – June 2019: Relationships and ethos: We will further develop open, supportive and respectful relationships. These will support an ethos in which everyone feels able to contribute to a safe, supportive and successful school. Personal support and inclusion: We will provide universal support for all learners and targeted support to those who have barriers to overcome in order to ‘close the gap’. We will seek to identify barriers to learning and wellbeing and take steps to overcome these. Participation and involvement: We will provide opportunities for pupil and parental involvement and reach out to those children and families who most need support to access education. We will encourage all pupils, parents and staff to play a role as leaders of learning and champions of school improvement. Opportunities: We will offer opportunities
