Computers´ history 1.-What simple device did the Chinese use in the twelfth century to perform mathematic calculations?  They uesd to use the abacus to perform mathematic calciulations during the twelvth century. 2.-What was the first standard industry computer language?  The oldest computer language still in use is Fortran, invented in 1957. The first computer language was assembly language, but the first high level programming language was Plankalkul. 3.-What was the technology that incorporated many transistors and electronic circuits on a single chip?  The integrated circuit was the tecnology that includs many transistor and electronic circuits on a single chip. 4.-What are two important upcoming technologies?
