Gillian Bush, 70, was working at the time when she received a call from the emergency services to say that someone had driven a car straight through the brick wall at her home in The Callanders, Heathbourne Road. There was significant damage done to the home and it meant Gillian and her husband had to stay in a hotel for a week while repairs were being carried out.
