Issue No.7 November 2013 MISSIONARY SISTERS OF OUR LADY OF AFRICA ‘WHITE SISTERS’ - MSOLA ..... at the service of Africa Dear Readers, As the days become shorter and the nights longer we know that winter is almost here. At this time of the year, darkness and death seem to be winning over light and life. Yet darkness, as we know, takes many forms. There is the darkness of sin, of war and famine, of bereavement and loneliness, of refugees running from violence, of the elderly driven from their homes in Burkina or the elderly left lonely and neglected in UK. Into all our darkness comes Jesus LIGHT of the world. So in the midst of the darkness we rejoice because Christ our Light, Life and Joy is about to appear. ‘The People that walked in darkness have seen a great light; on the inhabitants of a country in shadow dark as death LIGHT has blazed forth’(Isaiah 9:1) May the timeless message of the prophet Isaiah continue to rekindle hope in all of us wherever we are and whatever form our darkn
