Issue No.8 May 2014 MISSIONARY SISTERS OF OUR LADY OF AFRICA ‘WHITE SISTERS’ - MSOLA ..... at the service of Africa Dear Friends, A small yet lovely plant grows and blossoms on my window sill enjoying the spring sunshine. During Holy Week it starts to wither and die, regretfully I pick it up to throw it away. Then I look more closely at it: tiny green shoots and small buds are sprouting on the stumps of the stalks! Now new lowers and leaves have grown and opened and my little plant is a beautiful symbol of Resurrection reminding me of Jesus who died but who is now so gloriously Risen! Don’t we also discover unexpected new life emerging out of the different kinds of deaths we experience?
