July 2015 micronoticias Casa Central’s Week of Hope, our annual spring pledge drive, brings together the Casa Central community to help raise support and awareness for our social service programs. During the week of June 1-5, Casa Central organized a Senior Health Fiesta hosted by our senior services, a Family Fun Fest hosted by our children and family programs, and a Spring Reception that brought together our supporters at local restaurant, Mexique. This year, Casa Central worked hard to ensure that children, families, and seniors continued to thrive in our programs by bringing the community together to imagine change, invest in opportunity, and impact lives. During the Senior Health Fiesta, seniors in our Adult Wellness Center and Home Care Services programs, as well as older adults in the community, were able to receive free workshops on a multitude of health topics. Workshops included information regarding diabetes prevention, Social Security, and depression in the senior community
