Harlaw Academy newsletter – November 2015 Welcome: We are trying various new ways of keeping in contact with parents, pupils and staff and I urge you to read: My weekly blog on the school website Our Twitter accounts (Harlaw Academy, PE, Music, Maths, English) Parent Council and PTA twitter feeds and Facebook pages We regularly use group call to pass on information and after Christmas I will issue short information leaflets on particular topics. I will also continue to produce a brief monthly newsletter (paper copy and on the website). Strong work ethic: November and December are really important months for all our pupils. For S1 and S2 pupils it is a time to push on from a good start – future success needs built on solid foundations. Sticking in at every subject keeps all options open and ideas learned in one area can help understanding in another. S3 pupils also need to show they can cope with the demands of a subject at a high level as they have subject choices in the New Year
