Omega-3s help you live longer!
Reasons
Perhaps you’ve heard by now that eating Omega 3 Fish Oil produces a wide range of
health benefits.
In particular, the advantages for heart health and brain health have been
well chronicled with study after study.
But a huge amount of new research shows that fatty fish (because of their omega 3
content) actually help you live longer.
A 16-year study of 2,700 Americans aged 65 or over indicated that those with the highest
blood levels of omega-3 lived, on average, more than two years longer than those with
the lowest levels.
This research, carried out at the prestigious Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) and
the University of Washington, is the first of its kind correlating levels of fish
consumption with death rates.
It means, in effect, that those with higher blood levels of
omega-3 fatty acids cut their risk of dying prematurely by a quarter.
