The department “Biosym” (Bioprocesses and Microbial Systems) is interested in driving microbial
activity in the processes of food processing, environment, health or energy production. This
department includes skills in process engineering, industrial microbiology, physiology of
microorganisms, bio‐electrochemistry and toxicology to develop bioprocesses.
