Intended Outcome(s)
1. Acquire and Analyze Data Stored Within Suspect RAM or CACHE.
2. Analyze Timelines Data Streams within a Given Suspect Software Package.
3. Examine Data Layers within a suspect software package.
4. Investigate Digital Forensic Methods and define how these methods are used in computer forensics.
5. Capstone Presentation, Discuss Forensic Law and the Justice System.
Learning goals inherent in the outcomes: At the completion of this course you will be able to procure sequestered digital media from law
enforcement agencies, evaluate said media for deleted, hidden or manipulated data, retrieve said data in a manner consistent with law
enforcement agencies, and testify in a court of law as to the evidence found and procedures used to discover any and all manipulated data
files.
