Finding your children’s breath stink ? Relax, it is a normal condition.
Children can also develop
bad breath as man do.
So, what is the cause for bad breath in children ?
According to Dr Lewis First from Vermont Children’s Hospital at Fletcher Allen , the cause of it
is due to plaque build up.
The build up could happen due to several factors.
One of it is due to
lack of brushing and flossing.
This action could cause the build up of bacteria in our children’s
mouth.
The cultivation of bacteria will release bad odor as its by product.
Bad breath in Children
The second reason is due to playing nature of our children.
Children love to stuff a lot of foreign
object such as toys , blanket and pen to their mouth .
These object will bring a long the bacteria
that would further increase the production of bad breath from mouth.
The third reason is by
breathing through mouth.
When facing runny nose or fever , children tend to breath through
their nose.
