The transport is an activity that allows moving people or goods to and from.
The types of transport are: air, terrestrial and maritime transport.
The means of transport are the elements that are in use for carrying out the transport (trucks, trains,
ships, planes …)
Networks of Transport are the set of infrastructures where the vehicles can circulate easily (roads,
railroads, ports, airports).
The development of the transport allows:
- The daily displacement of the population: from your house to your place of work, leisure …
- The displacements to very remote places: tourism, emigration …
- The distribution of goods and services to satisfy the needs of the population.
In the last fifty years a revolution of the transport has taken place that allows transporting greater
amount of people and goods, with fast, safe and more economic ways.
