There are many qualities that make someone an Auburn man or woman.
Hard work,
responsibility, good character and strong convictions are just a few, and they are the qualities
found in senior defensive end Antoine Carter.
Carter came to Auburn three years ago from Ft.
Lauderdale, Fla.
“In high school, I was very unique,” Carter said.
“I did everything the way I wanted and I felt out of

He then came to Auburn and his responsibility and work ethic grew twofold.
On the field, Carter
was named to the Coaches’ All-SEC Freshman Team.
He saw action in all 13 games during the
2007 season.
“My goal as a player was to use my abilities to help the team in as many ways as I could,” Carter
said.
“As a person, I wanted to make sure that I finished school and graduated on time.
