Hampton City Council member Naomi
Hall passed away on
Wednesday at the
Medical Center of South
Arkansas, from complications following a fall at
her home.
Crystal Stephens
said that her great-aunt
had taken a fall Sunday
at home while trying to
retrieve something from
the top of the refrigerator.
She was taken to the
emergency room in El
Dorado.
She died from
complications after after
having been under anesthesia and passed away
Wednesday morning.
She suffered with COPD.
She was sworn in
to office on October 13,
2011, replacing Bobbie
Rogers who had resigned.
Naomi was born October 30, 1943 to Connie
Roper Evans and Leamon Walker Evans.
She
was a member of the
First Assembly of God
Church in Hampton.
She
Hampton Councilwoman
Passes Away Wednesday
also served as a member of the Hampton City
Council.
She was preceded in
death by her parents, her
