Julia Nelson
Ms.
Nelson is a 19-year-old woman who has come to a local adolescent health clinic without a
scheduled appointment.
Dr.
Wills has worked Ms.
Nelson into her schedule after a short wait.
MD: Hi Ms.
Nelson, I m Doctor Wills.
What can I do for you today?
Nelson: Well, my periods aren t coming when they are supposed to.
Everything seems to be all
fouled up.
MD: I see.
Can you tell me a little about what has been happening?
Nelson: Well, my periods aren t really ever normal.
They ve always been kind of irregular since
they started when I was around 13, you know.
