This version of the book was completed in September 2008. It continues to be widely used in China. This version adds a new Chinese language translation to the existing Tibetan translation, a few new lessons have been added, and the entire manuscript has been edited anew.
The texts in this book start with ABC. Lesson format is new words, text, conversation, drills, and exercises. Helpful explanatory notes accompany each lesson and each text is given in Tibetan and Chinese translations. A glossary is included, as are numerous pictures and diagrams.
