It was a back to back to back
win for Sacramento Combine in
Canada this Labor Day weekend
after the team handsomely defeated an injured Fiji All Blacks side
in the grand finals of the North
American Cup Soccer Championships.
Combine managed by Vick
Govind and coached by former
Combine starAjay Chand shined
after a slow but progressive start
in the early stages of the competition where they won two games
and tied against Vancouver Flagstaff.
All Blacks was brilliant in the
opening round where they seemingly defeated everything in their
path with all three wins on Saturday against Vancouver Fijiana,
Edmonton and East Bay Strikers.
By Sunday morningAll Blacks
ranked number one with nine
points and Combine at number
two with seven points.
For All Blacks the quarterfinal match against the big Calgary Fijians took a toll on them
as many of the boys were bruised
and injured in that encounter.
