fter four long days of searching for
the body of Nada Thabet May Allah
rests her soul in Paradise, the Detroit
Police and divers found Nada a mile away
from where she drowned.
The family of Nada
were extremely heartbroken by the incident
and the community at large was saddened by
the news.
Nada Thabet, the 16-year-old student at
FrontierAcademypassedawayafterdrowning
in the Detroit River while visiting Belle Isle
trying to save her 11-year-old sister.

outh For Understanding, a non-profit high school
exchange program is looking for host families
for exchange students coming in August for the
2010-11 school year.
Families provide a place to live,
meals, and loving encouragement.
