Author: Edward McCrady (Charleston, 8 Aptil 1833 – 1 November 1903, 7 Water Street, Charleston) || Publication Data: New York, 1897 || This volume was purchased for the library of the University of California from the bequest of Michael Reese (Hainsfurth, Bavaria, 15 August 1817 – 1 August 1878, in the Judengasse of Wallenstein, Bavaria). It was the heirs of Michael Reese who founded, in Chicago, the Michael Reese Hospital. The cornerstone of the Michael Reese Hospital was laid on 4 November 1880; the building was dedicated on 23 October 1881; and the hospital received its first patients on 24 October 1881. The Michael Reese Hospital ceased to operate on 30 June 2009. || For best viewing, download PDF.
