The Law of Unity.
Right.
The Law of Unity: an effort to unite all people into one country.
It doesn’t seem like a bad goal.
To make a country, completely at peace, with enormous
diversity, all working together to make the best world possible? Sounds fine to me.
Too
bad it doesn’t work in the real world like it does on paper, sort of like Communism.
Do not get me wrong; I am not opposed to this law.
I am, however, opposed to its
implementation.
When millions upon millions of soldiers come to invade and occupy your
country I would presume a little bit of a defensive attitude on the behalf of the original
inhabitants.
I guess I should come out and tell you part of the story.
The beginning, at least.
I live in the year 2187.
The United States, Great Britain, France, Russia, Italy, and
Germany have all survived a global shift in society and government.
Violent revolutions
had swept across the world years before, uprooting democracy and instead placing
Communism in its place.
